“How did you know you kin Ivan?” I don’t know if it’s the same for all Ivan kinnies but I absolutely hated him (and I still do but less so…) It wasn’t up until recently I started getting more interested in his character and mannerisms that I realized why it was I hated him. Naturally I disliked the fact he was a little too much like me. Now thinking about it, it makes sense why I disliked that. If Ivan met another version of himself he would also dislike him. Why? Ivan is a hypocrite. (At least in the main AU hence why I favour other versions of him more than the original).

Ivan? Hypocrite? Yes. Everything he stands against also describes himself. An example of this, in the comic where Sua and him talk about their sacrifice, Ivan said hers was a “stupid” execution (saying that she's not being noble by doing this and will only become a source of trauma for her by the end) when he did the same for Till but worse. Now some may beg to differ and say Ivan only decided to throw when he saw how Till looked so defeated but Ivan had been planning since round 5 and even earlier.
