For all intents and purposes, Finley Nightbrook didn't exist.

Legally, he might have, but in every other aspect of the word, he truly was like an angel: a presence only whispered about, never knowing you'd been visited until he was-- or you were-- long gone. He's gone by so many aliases that one might think he'd forget them; on the contrary, he keep meticulous track of every identity he wears.

It took several weeks of deep digging on November's part to verify a single social account to be owned by him, and a month followed before The Benefactor was even able to get into contact with him. At the time, all that had been gleaned was his first name and his reputation. The Benefactor offered him an 'opportunity'-- Put his skills to use for a noble cause, travel and see the world...

Angel, of course, saw through the grandiose exaggerations. And yet, strangely, he still accepted. Every time he is asked about why he stays, the story changes: a sense of duty one day, the next is simply 'because I want the pay'. Regardless of his ever-confusing nature, Angel proves time and time again to be a most effective asset at whatever his objective is.

Diagnosed with Aniridia, though has since had corrective surgery for it. He has contacts which he rarely wears unless necessary.

Cook was recruited in his late twenties, having been honorably discharged from military service after a facial wound earned from an IED on his first serious operation proved to require too much maintenance for his superiors' liking. While the military had never been his ambition-- it was a desperate attempt to prove himself 'man enough' to the internalized bigotry that clawed at him-- and he may not have been there long compared to others, he knew upon exiting that he couldn't do a regular job now; the need to protect others had seated itself deep within him.

The Benefactor extended the offer to Cook just as he was about to begin the process of opening a small 'safe house' food pantry-- Something that he sometimes finds himself wondering if he should have just gone through with. No matter his current musings, at the time, Cook jumped at the offer, and the rest is history.

Has a facial scar running from his lips to his upper left cheek. While lucky that he didn't recieve any worse, the wound proves tricky even in healing; sudden, violent motions of his mouth (such as yelling or intense laughter) can cause the scar to tear around his lip area, resulting in intense pain and bleeding if not dealt with. He wears a mask most of the time to conceal it, the reasons for which he never gives a straight answer for.

Also of note, Cook routinely takes Testosterone shots, and has been on T for years. The Benefactor keeps a supply of both the injection and gel forms of T for emergencies.

November was arguably the hardest to find, especially considering it was the exact skillset The Benefactor sought that November used to cloak himself in anonymity.

Rumors had begun to circulate of an incredibly skilled group of hackers that targeted wealthy, corrupt individuals. Soon enough, within a few months, all over the global news was the announcement of a raid and the apprehension of said group. The Benefactor saw his chance.

To anyone looking at the records now, all there is to see is that a supposed plea deal was made, minute sentences served, and the ring leader supposedly imprisoned longest. Nobody save for November, The Benefactor, and a few individuals now several thousand dollars richer than before knew the truth of the scenario: November had allied himself with the very kind of person he despised in order to help his friends.

Nowadays, he has a new team, new friends; he tries to focus on that and the work he does in helping take down monsters, rather than the gnawing guilt at his own hypocrisy.

November is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as Generalized Anxiety disorder. Despite staying in-base, special efforts still need to be made to ensure his wellbeing at times, mostly involving either sensory triggers or remembering to eat and fulfill other self-care needs.
