I have yet to change the categories butcwhatever WHAT IS IT WITH MCYTS AND CHANGING TITLES!!!!! DUDE!!!! Anyway! potential patch upload this weekend 👀👀👀 GUYS. 👀👀 PATRCHHHH 👀👀👀👀

I'll eventually make a graphic for this, but for now I'll leave it as is.

BE PREPARED FOR YAPS. I AM YAPPING. POSSESSION GM IS REAL. PATCH IS POSSESSED. PATCH IS CORRUPTING. THANKS FOR COMING TO MY TEDTALK. The eye is a lie, and I see nothing.

I defeated minecraft's illegal faction
HOLY FUCKINF SHIT. I just got around to astral's new video/season finale and GOD do I have thoughts. I didn't live react for astral's here but I will when the other's povs come out.

WHERE DO I EVEN START? I for sure thought something would go wrong with patch's "infiltration" plan with the eye, with all his betrayal, it was surprising to see gamemaster make him a gold rank, but given how, what's the word I even use here? GM has something weird toward/with patch, some weird feelings, a weird plan for him. why would patch be the only facing repercussions after GM banned himself? patch was the only one (as far as we know) instantly facing (visual) consequences to GM's death. do we just assume everyone GM has made a deal with has had this happen (aupnil, ect), or is it JUST patch? GM definitely has a plan and I believe there is a reason why he'd kept patch around after the first betrayal (and continous ones after that, which surely GM knew about). crazy thing to say, but did GM ban himself to go and make himself a part of patch, in a way? this sounds so far-fetched, but could he maybe have corrupted patch's player data? GM has done beyond impossible things before, the pack, the backrooms, the literal fucking core & moving it SOMEHOW using player sacrifices, and the fact that the EI's are powered by something beyond the core, something in their coding—recoded, completely new items which apparently will be tainted no matter what they try (besides destroying them (burning, throwing in the void). is it possible that patch, who destroyed the core itself, is corrupting due to it, or due to something with GM like mentioned before? I can't stop thinking about GM saying the light played right into his game and also going to completely out everyone of their experiences and vulnerabilities before banning himself. like I genuinely fear they've doomed patch. patch is one easily controllable / exploitable character, and I fear for him—it's part of the reason GM kept patch around, I believe. patch's need to be strong and insecurity of being weak is something one can easily mold and use, especially now that he'd been forced to throw his sword away. something bad is going to happen to patch after this / due to this and I fear it's inevitable..

maybe, this is punishment. it surely is, patch will forever carry a reminder of his foolishness, of his "greed" for power due to his insecurity of being weak. he'd refused to burn his exploited sword, they'd fought to remove the eye and all it stood for and made, the items, the core. and yet, his fear of being weak held him back until everyone pressured him and talked sense into him, tried to assure him; patch is smart, he can survive. he can be strong. patch refuses to see this, he consistently thinks of himself as inherently weak and the only thing that made him feel strong, made him feel like he COULD survive on the shattered smp, the shattered reality they're apart of, was an illegal, exploited sword. patch is often belittled, he's smart, but nobody recognizes him as strong or generally notable, which is why he first went to GM. he sought out the power of OP, illegal armor and items. he'd never meant to be roped into the bigger picture of the eye, but he'd simply only ever meant to feel good about himself, feel that he IS able to protect himself, even if it takes items that should not be allowed.

I don't have much to say that isn't patch related because, to be honest, I was really focused on patch during my watch due to my fixation on him, but I also really like how astral can never quite escape any of his actions. he went back to the overworld expecting a destroyed spawn, but instead, he found himself in the wilderness, instantly facing repercussions for actions he'd buried and suppressed after doing them—killing everyone present so nobody besides him would know, and he'd supress it, not tell a soul and move on. he'd slaughtered people due to being in his head and emotional, let it out on them, and the second he faced them again by being reminded, he was facing punishment by the peacekeepers and the only person he'd let live, who'd seen the desolated village after astral killed everyone there. astral can never quite run from his own actions, it seems everything he does somehow has consequences, which is why he (as well as everyone else, but for different reasons) felt so odd and weird and incomplete about getting rid of the eye when it was all done.

I'm very happy that aupnil is still alive!!! I feared for their live whenever they were with astral. as well as nexus, both of them were very dear side characters to me, and I hope we can see them again eventually, see what they do and how they ended up after the eye. it's so odd, because I feel like the eye had such an impact, but were also so, hidden? in a way? unknown, besides to the members they chose, the members, half of whom didn't even know what the entire thing was about. I feel like at the end, when they were all talking about how in "20 years end explorers will find this artifact and wonder what happened", it just really shows how, one, astral believes he didn't make an impact here, and two, that this piece of history will be forgotten, that no one would care to document it because most of the eye members were dead, and the generals all disappeared. they fought so hard, did so much to preserve and save the server, but that no one will remember it or know of it, know it ever happened at all besides the very people who fought that war. I dunno I feel like astral kinda undermines his importance in things, he doesn't think of himself as a savior, to him, he was just getting rid of thethe cheap tricks that were the exploited items.

anyway, besides that, this made me so sad. cryo we miss you every day. the amount of GUILT astral feels but never really adresses beyond that "he owes it to cryo" hurts a lot, it reminds me of uu!flame, similarly to when Godofwar died, yall catch my drift on this? their characters are a little alike in that aspect. they have similar core aspects and aspirations (probably due to the "inspiration") but there's something that makes astral generally different to me. wemmbu has orbitals, generally, we consider this something that should not exist, and flame consistently voices that, yes they make one powerful, but they do not compare to one's skill, and this is something astral voices similarly. both astral and flame care about their honor; both refuse to use cheap weapons unless they absolutely have to—they prefer melee above all else (carting, macing). in a way though, it's not comparable because wemmbu/him and his orbitals aren't really a server wide threat like the eye is. they have so much in common but there's just something that sticks out about astral. flame has never considered or thought of himself as a hero until pointed out, but astral completely disassociates from the concept of being a hero, saying he can "stop playing hero now". I don't believe flame thinks he is innocent, but he thinks that the change he is making to himself and such suffices, whereas I don't think astral believes he can change or needs to? it reminds me more of s1 flame, whenever we'd see him in the background, or like s2 right after the mafia and he started his toxic player journey. flame let himself be a weapon for both zam during her empire time and by ash during the mafia before he declared himself a solo player, disassociating from civilizations and factions in general unless he has to. they're so different yet so similar and I do love that.

ALSO! the stacking end gateway is like THE exploit to 2b2t that once likr I think allowed people to teleport to the world border (of the end) ?? holy shit bro LOOK AT MY REALITY DAWG IT'S SHATTERED. also, this entire thing has me curious on where nufuli has gone. was he not supposed to be in the end? where'd he disappear to?

hardcore mc smp vs illegal exploiter faction
the concept of moldy calling the light a team of heroes, while astral simply claims it is a small group formed against the eye. hmmm 💭💭

I can't stop thinking about this. GM knows a lot, and by the end of it all, he'd said they had played right into his game which means he knew EXACTLY what had been happening and what was being planned (because as we previously saw, despite seemingly never being present, he knows A LOT of things thay happen on the server, specifically surrounding the light members.) GM let patch infiltrate and pretend because it played right into what he wanted, since the core may have been the source of creation, but it doesn't power the items afterwards—and what he'd wanted was for every light member to feel hopeless that, even in the wake of defeating the eye, they were still powerless toward the existence of the items. they still worked, and they could only get rid of the very few they owned (-moldy's mace, for now. we'll see if he gets rid of it by the end of the video). GM has a plan beyond banning himself and I don't believe he's fully banned, and if he is, his death is affecting patch for some reason. patch is exploitable and pretty weak to his own feelings, if he felt suddenly changes, urges, weakness and helplessness he can't get rid of, I fear he may attempt to do something stupid like try to get the items/core back. but then again, how would he do that? the thing is gone for good, we don't even know how it came to be in the first place. I'm still very adamant on the GM possessing patch in a way. maybe not fully in the way that he can control patch's body, but enough so that he can talk to him in his head and possibly manipulate him into doing certain things.

it still makes me giggle a little that patch went and said to GM that he "killed astral and derp" because bro patch. you ain't killing ANYONEEE 😭😭 especially not astral. mr immortal player. likr if GM didn't knoe about the betrayal before, that had to have been the most obvious sign because, derp? maybe, maybe patch could kill him especially with the sword, but ASTRAL? my guy.

HOLY SHIT EITHER I MISSED THIS IN ASTRAL'S POV OR SHE DIDN'T INCLUDE IT, BUT DUDE. "doesn't really matter, you know? the server would be better off with it (me)" passively suicidal patch... I mean, generally, his plan had been a suicide attempt because if GM knew all, which (most of) the light members knew, then who was to say he wasn't going to be instantly banned? patch seriously doesn't think of himself as notable or important to the server, if anything, he thinks of himself as nothing but bad and pain toward it, he doesn't think there's much reedeming he can do for what he's done, similarly to how he doesn't think he can change from "being weak" when, yeah his pvp is not his greatest skill, but he was still a smart redstoner which instantly gave him some advantage toward others. maybe he can't win most pvp battles, but he can still kill people if he has traps. oh, patch.. my tragic little character

THEY BUILT TWO OUTPOSTS OVER MOLDY'S OLD BASE I'M ACTUALLY FUCKING CRYING. AIN'T NO WAY ALL THAT IS NECESSARY OVER A DESTROYED BASE LMAFOAOA

"I asked to become a gold rank and he made me a gold rank" appeasement behavior, exploit the fact that patch believes GM doesn't know about what he has been doing with the light. "the player I myself chose to be under me", as if patch had not been the one to seek GM out for the first time. it's like he knew this would happen and how exactly he'd play with patch's and everyone else's head (evident by GM announcing vulnerabilities). GOD he irks me out so bad. we saw this in astral's pov already but it just continues to make me feel sick. GM has done nothing but exploit patch and his insecurities and weaknesses. GM had patch give up his life and freedom just so patch can live. maybe patch had been foolish, breaking his first deal and getting himself into a bigger mess than necessary, but it doesn't even seem like GM cares. he had it all planned out. it's like he predicted patch from the very beginning to force him into this situation. the second GM was gone, patch expressed pain and his skin changed. if he gave up his freedom, who's to say that it had been referring to being forced to work under the eye? what if it referred to patch's autonomy? something is clearly happening to patch, and I fear this is exactly what GM wanted.

"at least I'll die knowing I was accepted by him", "no matter if you kill me or not, the eye is everlasting, moldy." "you are not your own person. and most importantly, you are and always were a coward." man, something about terminator hurts my very soul. I don't know what it is, but it hurts me

I've got a lot less to say about this one compared to before because it's all just going to be kind of a repeat, but either way, moldy's probably going back to the backrooms, and I believe he either never burns his mace, or he'll burn it in the very place he got it from. poetic, isn't it?

something about patch (nothingburger)
you know, there's something I noticed. ever since patch's pov started, he's never really had friends. sure, he helped astral with freeing moldy from a prison, essentially, but that was his job. that was just his job, they weren't exactly friends after that, him and yang might've known eachother due to both working at spawn civ, but they weren't close. he's either alone, or around someone with a power trip and arguably you could say that changed with the light, specifically moldy who protected him from death (which, funnily enough, can I say that this somehow got patch attached? he seems to care more about moldy than moldy does about him—I mean, moldy didn't even react to patch's skin change much/at all—in fact, nobody was worried. they were just confused), but most of the other members now worked with him simply because it was convenient. they begrudgingly worked with him because he was their best shot despite it all, but even then, even with moldy, it doesn't exactly seem like he really cares all that much. even with moldy, it was simply convenient. patch clearly struggles with trust himself, but he's tried to make it up, he tried exactly what would've worked on him, except it didn't work on yang / astral / derp—they're still understandably upset. patch either trusts the wrong people and digs himself into a hole beyond return, or he distrust those who don't mean anything bad, I believe. he cannot trust who he think he can trust, he can't trust anyone. can he trust himself?

I feel like we have astral, man vs self. moldy, man vs man, and then there's patch—arguably, does he even have a "self" he could go against? I don't believe he knows himself, what he needs to do, how to be and how to act and how to just do things. he attempts, but it always seems to end wrong. I don't know, I feel like I'm yapping about a whole buncha nothingburgers and I'm completely wrong.
