I naturally have very little to no empathy for others due to my autism, but I try to behave empathetically regardless out of a desire to be the best version of myself I can become. I follow my own moral compass and value acts of benevolence and understanding as well as constant curiosity, self-questioning and growth over virtue signaling or shaming others for their ignorance. ⠀
