i have had a special interest on the album since 2020 and i've consumed many video essays and multiple relistens to it often. this doesn't make me the "number 1 fan", money doesn't either. i'm lowkey broke and i cannot afford the viynl pressings to begin with! as much as i want them. i am incredibly passionate about these albums. personally, i think stage 2 is my favorite and stage 4. people tend to neglect or hate on stage 4 and 5 due to their lack of rhythm, considering it a bunch of noise! which yes!! it is. it means a lot more than that and if you boil it down to just "noise" i take it as a massive disrespect onto the album as a whole. i also have a distain and hate towards people who's only favorite stage is 1, calling it "liminal space". it is not liminal space, it never will be. this is a fucking album about DEMENTIA not your liminal space slop pile. sorry!

this whole album has sparked a special interest in 1920 - 1940s ballroom music too. the samples go to some of my favorite songs in the genres and i will glaze the fuck out of this album all i want. it is generally one of my favorite albums till the end of time (har har).
