Each character has a role they played as a high elder. Firstly, "High Elders" rotate out every 1,000 years. Theres not a strict number on how many high elders there can be through every rotation. Each high elder has different powers, which can be inherited from past elders or be born from a new elder.

Since Muyi has been around since the creation of Humanity, she's had a few experiences in being a high elder in previous rebirths*. Her role is controlling choas and maintaining order. Her true powers are left unknown, but it is "rumored" that she was the only angel to known and hold all powers.

Like her name, Yoan was a creation "God" had created themself and put a lot of time in making. In religous history, she was spoken to be like a second commandment and finalized all of "God's" orders. Her powers are said to be The Light itself, but since falling, it seems to be taking a sliver of her life force everytime she uses it.

Selene helped bring calmness during night, being known commonly as the "Moon Angel". Her role was regulating fertility and often blessed those deeply wanting to bring life during certain parts of the Moon cycle. Her powers have been said to be taken directly from the moon. Many accounts list her specific powers to be Tidal Influence* and Dream Weaving*.

Jinan helps guide souls to the Garden Of Afterlife. She helps soothe their souls before entering the afterlife for their souls new rebirth. For every soul she helps rest, a flower is planted in one of their most beloved place. Her powers seem to not be recorded, and is often said to be the more weaker than the other high elders. However, it is rumored that she can control plant-life.

Sohan is often referred as the "Angel Of Radiance"
