frutiger aero is an aesthetic that prominently features characteristics such as glossy textures , skeumorphism , utopian themes , nature , and technology. it was most used in web design and to promote technology during 2004 - 2013 and had a popularity resurgence in late 2022. the name originated from "adrian frutiger" , the creator of the frutiger fonts which feature heavily in the aesthetic. many of frutiger aeros themes derive from previous aesthetics such as y2k futurism , utopian scholastic , and many others.
