- i tend to switch between low and high energy, so my responses can range from dry to all caps depending on my mood or your vibe. i also tend to mirror the energy of the person i'm talking to.
regardless of how i'm doing mentally, i'm usually pretty distant. if i ignore you, i'm probably busy with college/life, didn't see your message, don't know what to say, or just need some space. if that ever bothers you, please let me know. i promise it's never out of malice.
as contradictory and hypocritical as it may be given my own habits, i don't take being ignored very well especially when it's about something important. i usually keep it to myself but if it starts getting to me, i may bring it up.
- i might spam messages or talk a lot in dms/our servers when i want to talk to you. i tend to get pretty annoying around people i'm close with, so if that bothers you, block me. <3
- i often struggle with social cues and typing tones, even when tone indicators are used, and i tend to overthink them afterward. reassurance goes a long way.
- please ask before referencing or taking inspiration from my work or ideas. because of past experiences, i'm very uncomfortable with people using my ideas without checking with me first.
- i usually ignore or decline random dms and friend requests. i'm pretty cautious about who i interact with and prefer to keep weirdos out of my inbox ^^
- i may go inactive or semi-inactive without much warning depending on what's happening in my life. i have a habit of disappearing for a while, but i'll try my best to give a heads-up beforehand.
- i change names pretty often, so please refer to me by my current display name. if we've known each other for a while, i don't mind being called by my old names.
- i forget things easily, please be patient with me.
- my texts and opinions can come across as dry or blunt at times, but i rarely mean anything by it, so please don't take it personally.
- i'm socially anxious; delayed replies are pretty common.
- i make sexual jokes fairly often and casually use phrases like "kys" or "kms." they're not meant seriously.
- i usually use tone tags, but if you're not comfortable with them, i can stop using them around you.
- i prefer masculine honorifics, but i don't mind feminine terms being used jokingly or as slang as long as it doesn't go too far.
- if any of my hyperfixations come up, expect me to get excited and ramble about them.
- if i ever cross a line or make you uncomfortable, please tell me directly. i'd genuinely appreciate it, and i'm always willing to own up to my mistakes.
