Lets get to know some terminology?

Yumejoshi (夢女子) lit. means "Dream Girl" fem-aligned person who ships herself with a fictional character. It can be romantically, platonically or familially!
Yumedanshi (夢男子) lit. means "Dream Boy", its the male-aligned version of Yumejoshi.
There technically isnt a neutral term, however western communitys use Yumejin, Yumehito, or simply call themselves a Yume! Yumeship(per) is also commonly used.
Terms like Riako (リアコ) or Gachikoi (ガチ恋) exist in the community, but they are not exclusive to yume's!
Both of these terms mean "seriously in love". Riako is commonly used by fem-aligned people, but anyone can use Gachikoi, its not gender exclusive. You can be a Gachikoi / Riako of characters, idols, streamers etc etc.
